Mike was among the first anglers to visit Russia after the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991 - traveling first to the Kola Peninsula, and then to Kamchatka in 1994. He's been back every year since, and has been instrumental in bringing the experience of the region to thousands of fly fishers.
