APP & Atom feed sound promising

Lots of people over the internet are talking about APP. To me it sounds promising merely because the enthusiasm it creating the in the community. That is healthy sign. Though, personally, I am not having any doubts about its future, now for the reason of its suitably to handle contents in a more natural way.

you know what ...

you know what I am starting to understand hibernate. I can see what they are trying to do and I know its a bit early to say this but I can see where things went wrong. I would have say its a nice piece of technology if can use it right. The Hibernate Book preaches to keep the domain model seperate and independent of the persistence layer and it does make sense. but as you go along working with hiberate you have no choice but to start thinking how many sql will be fired for each of the method calls. And this is becomes important once you start having class hierarchies. Because, the object persistence strategy you choose is going to have a direct affect on your fetch time.

closing line : better know it first hand, then to hear it from someone..

What the *Hibernate* is this?

I thought it was only true for superman. But I was wrong. "With great power comes great responsibilty". It is so true for hibernate developers. Given that hibernate gives you all the power of persistence technology you would ever need but you have to be really really careful with it. Right now, I have a ball learning hibernate, by experiences, mostly bad ones. With my little experience of hibernate, I advice all amateur users to follow one simple rule. "Use a conservative approach". Keep it as closed as possible, no extra doors open. Like if you know only delete operation needs to be cascaded to the child that do not use cascade="all" :-). cheers.

ATL Rocks !!

I am here back on my home ground and boy it feels great. Old friends unite. Friends who have grown unite too. Its already saturday night and my trip is just a day away from getting over. But though it sounds cliched " I am just not getting enough of it". I wish I could stay here more. Last day was fun, I did surprise quite a few people with my presence back home. Actually no one knew that I was visiting. I met all my friends and 'foes' too...oh gotta go..bowling time..will finish this later..

On the 19th April we had our release which pulled us out of beta to a stable and amazing product. The whole team has high expectations from this launch and know what this are already starting to brighten up. We are hitting more and more downloads by the day.

This has been a fun ride and I am all set to and excited "already" for the next release. But before I do that I am having a small vacation with friends back in ATL.

Great work team. Its great working with you all.
