LYRICS WORLD dot COM

Calling itself "The Original Lyrics Search Engine" and while I dont know about that.. I do know that it has a database bigger than most, and an active forum to ask around if you can't find the lyrics you're looking for. Not overrun by ads, this site is probably the best one you're going to find.. and if you find one better, write up a new jetpack and prove me wrong!

Great site for music from around the world. Thousands upon thousands of songs for you to find, but not much past the 1980s. Passes the test on quite a few old songs that not many people have probably ever heard of except those with a penchant for the archaic. But if that's what you need.. this is the place. 

LYRICS DOWNLOAD dot COM

Even more advertisement and popup happy than Lyrics dot Com (this is a running theme in the lyrics search engine world) also includes more lyrics to choose from. Has some rare ones in there too. Just barely passes the "Ive got a lovely bunch of coconuts" test, but doesnt list it by the original artist. Falls short to turn up the lyrics to the old English Music Hall song, "Any Old Iron." But in my opinion.. much too annoying to put up with. 

LYRICS dot COM

Lyrics dot com got the jump on any other lyrics website and has the domain named on exactly what you're looking for. Does that mean its the best place to find lyrics? Well that depends if you like advertisements. You do? Oh then this site's just perfect for you. I keep my browser pop-up locked, but I'm going to assume this site has plenty of them. That being said.. it has plenty of artists' lyrics.
