Summary: With many drawings and depictions it is difficult to tell what gender they are; however this one is clearly female by its elegant head and lithe body structure.

Summary: Most hippogriffins are depicted with an eagle's head, wings and front legs, a lion's body and tail and a horse's back legs. This one is a variation on the theme, which suits it well.
