Summary: Goal 6: Combating HIV/AIDs, Malaria, & Other Diseases Located in Geneva and New York, this very small inter-agency program works toward what they consider the seven basic goals of humanity: poverty, lack of education, gender equality, lowering the child morality rate, improving maternal health, combating HIV/AIDs, environmental sustainability and global partnership. Its current mission statement reads: "The Non-Governmental Liaison Service (NGLS) promotes dynamic partnerships between the United Nations and non-governmental organizations.
