I got my 2nd in-line skate shoes from sports authority. It is for men size 5.0 and I usually wear 5.5 women size so that it works out fine for me.

On Sundays thers are people skating in groups, sometimes dancing on skate shoes, on the smooth-surface playground of golden gate park entrance on 6th Ave. and Fulton. Kids learning how to stand up on skating shoes are also very fun to watch. If your skate shoes are ok for rough ground (those shoes usually have bigger wheels and thicker rubber on wheels, maybe addtional concussion releivers.), you can join the cyclyers for a relax on the park tracks.
