to 1372 when it was owned by the Mayor of Hradcany. During the next
centuries the House changed its owners several times. Among then we can
find Czech kings´servants, members of different religious orders
and many important Prague burghers. In 1723-32, when owned by the
official of Czech Royal Chamber Baltazar Knapp, the House saw a
thorough and expensive reconstruction that put it in the today´s
shape.
